Personally, I like it. I get varied reactions though from other people. Earlier I was talking with somebody on the phone and I mentioned that I had chicken liver barbecue and she this reaction which told me that she hates it. How about you? Do you like liver?

I'm eating it. ^_^
It's good for me for I am anemic.
It doesn't taste that bad for me but some of my friends really hate it also.

I can eat liver but only in small portions and it must be accompanied by something else like real meat or noodles. I just can't stant eating them on it's own and in big portions. Half of tablespoon is big enough for me. I don't know but liver just tastes like a chunk on blood solidified. It leaves a rusty taste on my tongue. Liver has strong taste that even a small portion can make a difference and i'm pretty good at detecting if it's liver or meat. I know it's healthy and i'm not closing my doors on eating a big chunk of liver. Afterall, i was able to eat ampalaya in an instant and i don't know how it happened. It just miraculously became my favaorite. From hate to favorite. Maybe it's just me growing old. lol!

Hhhmmm. I think you're palate is pretty sharp, too. I guess it's an acquired taste. There are still some things that I do not eat like chicken feet and some veggies. True enough, some foods that we avoid before can later be something which we crave. For example, I didn't like carrots, lettuce, cauliflower, cabbages and the likes but when I found out that it fights cancer, I gorged it at times.

I also stay up late always that I ended up anemic... my room mates were so worried that since then that they bought a lot of ampalaya...now, it's like we have it almost every other day...sometimes I cringe at the thought of having it again but I have to eat it

I grew up eating chicken liver. Every time my dad made homemade chicken noodle soup he would add liver. He only made it once a month or once every other month. I would eat about 2 pieces with some salt. To this day I still dont mind it. I dont like it nearly as much as I used to, but I still eat it when I visit my parents and my dad made some soup. :)

I like liver, because the liver has a good effect to our body, it helps to add blood to the anemic person, like my mother the doctor said to her that she must eat food most of all rich in blood, like liver and etc. to produce more blood and replenish the old blood in our blood.

I don't eat meat, so I'm sure I wouldn't like it. I've never actually tried it - even when I wasn't a vegetarian, but I had heard from SO many other people that their parents would make them eat it (more specifically: "liver and onions" as a meal), and totally hated it. So I've always tried to avoid it based on the testimonials of others, and of course because I don't eat meat to start with.
And the idea of eating a liver.. Just seems gross to me.

Hi diutay, I now like liver, especially chicken liver or lamb's liver. For a long time I did not like it and that annoyed me. One day I tried some lamb's liver with mint sauce and I was hooked. Lovely!
Now the only normal food item that I don't like is kidney. I can eat it but do not enjoy it.
