Reward thyself...

One thing that I remembered from a workshop that I attended before was to reward ourselves. 
The speaker told us that we have to be kind to ourselves. We work so hard so it's only proper that we give ourselves a present even if it's only a very small thing such as a book or a bar of chocolate or a massage or as grand as jewelry or something.
For me it made sense and since then every payday I'd do it for myself. In your case what reward do you give yourself?

Hey, I also like massage and sometimes a new shirt does it for me. It's really true that we have done a lot and we deserve a pat in the shoulder.

This is a hard one for me to answer as most of my money goes on bills and food, when there is a little extra left sometimes I get a CD or clothes just a little something, but will saay it does make me feel guilty sometimes! lol LoLo

Hi diutay,
That is one thing that I don't do as I always forget to reward myself but buy for other people, but I do get things bought for me from my sister whenever she goes on her holiday.

I reward myself with food or rest.
I think I deserve it for a long hard day's work.
Whenever I go out, I see to it that I have some extra money that I could use to buy some food or refreshing drinks.

My favorite reward is a dinner out! I do all of the cooking and all of the dishes. I do love to cook. And I do enjoy the food that I make. But sometimes I just dont want to! So being able to go out to dinner is a nice, relaxing treat for me.
I do agree that we should reward ourselves from time to time. It doesnt have to be something expensive. It doesnt even have to cost anything! Sometimes when my husband and I are both busy we will take some time for a walk. We will leave all of our responsibilities alone for a while and just spend some time together. It is really nice to not worry about the other things for a while. And I never get enough of him! So anytime together is ok by me!
