I know internet blogging is becoming very common and popular, lots of people like to write blog on the webpage as well as uploading pictures. I have done that before, slowed down for a while and started again, but I ended up giving up it since I didn't really advertise it so nobody really browsed often.
Recently, I have started to write diary marking down the things that happen everyday. I think it is like a way to release some of the emotions so it can be kept in the book. I hope I can keep doing it and won't give up easy :-)
Do you guys do diary or blogging?

With the encouragement of some friends here and some not from this site, I have gained back the drive to blog once more. I have been hibernating for a good 2 weeks and feels like I have had a blog holiday. But once I come back in, I feel fresh, rejuvenated and I have totally revamped my blog. Over the course of my hibernation, I feel that I have somewhat 'lost' temporarily my best friend, my confidante and a dear diary to me. I do keep some drafts just for my personal viewing in my blog. And I would read it whenever I feel bored or down and some of my posts are just poking fun at things; just to release my stress. But I have cut down on words so far, and my old blog used to be heavy with words. The blog is in my profile and I just upload music and videos for now. But I think I will start to blog actively in this short period to come. I just can't do without blogging or what I call my diary activities online.

diary seems to be quiet strange to me ,to tell you the truth ,i can hardly stick to it when i have a thought of keeping a diary ,instead ,for most of the time ,i write down my own feeling of the day on my blog or my zone ,because it is competely open to the public and everyone is able to share your feeling or your own understandings of life with you

i think everyone here did at some moments in your lives decide that "i am going to write a diary to record down everything that i did today, tomorrow and every other tomorrows thereafter". at least i did. but i always give up after just a few entries. i dont have the patience to fill it in daily and do find it a waste of time after a few days haha. but thats just me.

In fact, I don't often write diary or blog. Very lazy :) Sometimes I think I am different from others. I seldom write down the happy things. I write only when I am unhappy or sad or anything annoys me. Since I am not always sad, I write only a few diaries.
But in my mind, writing diary in the book is better than writing blogs on the net. I think it is safe to keep a long. :D

I am a blogger instead of diary writer.Blogging seems more interesting to me as many people from all part of the world can read and diary seems to be more to privacy, and ofcourse not everything is written on ,y blog.Blog is a means to share with family and friends and maybe some strangers or browsers on the net however blogging is best to not disclose any information that might bring harm to yourself and people around you.

well . absolutely not . you cannot control your future you know . maybe sometimes you 'll so busy for the business or maybe sometime you go outside . in the other city and do not take the pad or if you take , and you must to do the work use it . so you cannot write them at that time . and this , it's you cannot control .
and also smoetimes , because of the lazy feel you do not want to do . so what !? anyway . that's a good habit . but some do not want to hold on or can not hold it . who care .
overall , have a good day . my friend `

I have tried blogging for making some extra money but I end up with nothing because there is not enough visitor. So I quite it. I think blogging is not very easy job and it takes years to make a good blog.
Now taking about writing diary I don't find it interesting. I really don't want to write my secrets on paper and create a chance that other people will read it and come to know about those facts. So for me I say no to diary writing.

Personally, I don't have the habit of writing diary or blogging because I am too lazy to write everyday. However, when I was in junior high school, I used to write diary everyday because it was part of our homework. I didn't have so much to say , so sometimes I just explained the meaning of my name or made up something, etc... Some of my friends write diary everyday, I think it is a good habit, because it can bring them some quality time and make them focus on their inside world.

when i was in high school i used to make a diary.. i record all the things that happened to me in a day by day basis.. but now that i am so busy and have no time in writing it on a notebook, i do it using an application i programmed using c#.. i now can store everything that had happened to me in my laptop.. and i can browse and write on it even if i am at work.. and i don't need to worry finding a pen to use to write in my diary, all i need is a power outlet to plug my laptop.. haha..

The other reason I started writing it is because I have too much time to have nothing to do so I figured that might be a good idea to do so... Thanks for sharing! :-)

Hello mermaidivy,
It has been very long since the last time I wrote in my diary. I wrote everything in my precious diary when I was a teenager. I still have some of my diaries with me and whenever I have time to look at them, I feel so embarrassed on certain things that I jotted there. I feel awful too at my hand writing that time. But for now, I don't do that anymore and I don't even have a blog to start with. Maybe I should create a blog and start to write again...

I have never been one for writing in a diary. My pen just cant keep up with my thoughts!
I do blog fairly regularly. My typing is much quicker than my writing! One of the things that I really like about my blog is that it has 3 settings. I can leave stuff that anyone can see. I can post some things for only certain others to see. I can also post things that no one else can see! It makes for the best of both worlds. I can have all of my private thoughts out of my head, but I dont have to worry about other people reading them. I can also post the things going on in my life. It makes it much easier to keep up with family and friends that dont live nearby!

I use to keep like a journal when I was in 8th grade up until my sophomore year of high school and to tell the truth i felt so much better. I think writing helps people get things out to what they really feel. Then myspace came out and I started blogging and slowly stopped from it and now I started writing again and I actually feel better.
