Has Playstation Online Gaming Gotten Any Better Compared To What It Was.

When I played online games for the Ps2 if someone disconnected while playing you didn't win and they didn't lose. If they quit they would lose but you wouldn't be credited for a win. Also you couldn't rate players reputation either although you could block them from playing you. Xbox Live turned out to be much better although the drawback was you had to pay which you didn't have to do for the Ps2.Has the Ps3 made any online gaming improvements since then.

Yes the PS3 online has gotten much better for most games but IMO Xbox live is still MUCH better, it has more features and even though it costs money With all the extras you get what you pay for

i assumed ps3 online gaming had improved because when i played the ps2 online it really sucked at the time. xbox live gold has it all for playing games online plus much more like watching netflix streaming movies as well as other videos. i haven't even played a ps3 yet. the only reason i would want to get a ps3 is for its blue-ray player to watch movies but if i did that i would certainly pick up metal gear solid 4 as thats the only game i'm really interested in playing on the ps3.
