Electricity is difficult to learn if you're no that fully interested. We have electrical subjects during my college days. Putting that little learnings to our household electrical problems turn out to be very effective. I suggest that you need to learn the basics, like voltage= current x resistance. Always remember that dealing with electricity is very risky, it can put a person six feet below the ground. So please be careful when handling open wires and as much as possible shut off the main box where all electrical source terminates before fixing electrical problems. You should also have proper equipments and tools when handling that. Remember, all things can be learned and it's all up to us if we give importance and interest to it.

I am not really sure. I know it is very technical and dangerous though. I am sure there is quite a bit to learn about it.

For me, its very to hard to understand the electricity without knowing the very fundamental way why the electricity exist?... If you want to understand about electricity, you must be familiar about the electrical properties of the atom.. Just go to howstuffworks dot com and search for electricity and you'll find there what you want.. Good luck
