My favorite poet is Robert Frost. He wrote some amazing poems in his time which really resonate with me. I especially enjoy how he utilizes nature.
Who is your favorite poet? Why do you like him/her?

I agree with you - Robert Frost has written some AMAZING poems - I think my favorite one by him is "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" (I think that's what it's called, anyway). But my actual favorite poet is probably going to have to be Sylvia Plath, because she wrote some amazing, metaphorical poems too. I can't really describe why I used to love her so much (back in high school!), but I do know that a part of me related to her poetry, and I interpreted it in a way that I could relate to, even though they might have been the "correct" interpretations. My favorite poems by her were "Lady Lazarus", "Ariel", & "Tulips".

I have never heard of her before, but I have been getting into reading a lot lately and will definitely check her out soon. Thanks for the good post!

I am not really fond of reading of poems because sometimes it bores me to no end.lol!but I completely agree with you that Robert Frost was a great poet together with William Wordsworth, George Bernard Shaw, Hellen Keller, Robert Burns and a lot more.
My favorite poem is "A Tree"?I am not sure if that is the title but I love the line that goes: I shall never see such a thing as lovely as a tree. I don't know if I quote it right.hehehhee. Was it from Hellen Keller or Joyce Keller?I am not sure.

I like William Shakespeare more on his writings, he's really a genius!I love the way he captures situation into reality through his philosophical and very dynamic approach. Edgar Allan Poe is also one on the list, his way of writing is very unique and his dramatic works contributed more life to literature.
