How would you spend a million dollars in a day?

If I had a million dollars that I had to spend in one day.. First off my son, boyfriend and I would be living in a house, doesnt have to be the most expensive or anything like that, we would not have to worry about the simple things in life... would pay lights, sewer, etc. for a couple of years (the next day the taxes would be outragous and wouldnt be able to pay it...lol) Next I would make sure that I paid my grandma back for every loan that she had ever gave me, and her house would be paid off, and any other bill that she had, so she could spend the rest of her days doing what ever her heart diziared.. Then my aunt, who I think of more as a mom.. Every bill would be paid in full.. And I would ask her were would she like to move to? Lets go shopping.. give her more then enough to set up her new house exactly how she wanted... new furnite, applinances.. Her dark cloud would be gone, and time to buy a new car that she wouldnt have to worry about... and if there was any money left over well lets see.. oh yea have some out standing bills that need to be paid... but why worry about all of them at first... it that would actually happen well it would be like a dream... and for all of those that have really really helped me over the years, through it all... They deserve those luxuries, they have put so much on the line for me.. I would rather have several people really happy versus's my own little family happy.. it should be shared.. there would be a couple others that I would help them... but for my mom, sister, and brothers... nothing..

It would be really hard to spend 1 million dollars within 24 hours. But i know the very first thing i would do is buy about 3 acres, have a huge house built on it, buy a huge boat, and if im buying a huge boat im going to need a huge truck to pull my huge boat. I would also probably purchase some sort of franchise to ensure i can still have some kind of decent money coming to me. Then with the rest of all the money I would go shopping in L.A. I hope i have spent all of the million...hehe

let me see... If I have to spend a million dollars in a day, first I would buy two large houses for my parents in the downtown area, one for them to live in, the other can be rented out as a way to earn some money for them. Next, I would buy a house in the country that I want to go for further study, thus, there will no need to rent a house once I go there. Third, I would like to book triple plane tickets to every place in the world my parents and I want to visit. At last , I guess I will denote the rest money to some charities, thus, helping many people in need.

Me and my boyfriend often had this discussion, if we would become rich what would we do with the money. First of all, I would celebrate with my closests friends and family and them I would buy myselt a house and keep some money in the bank. Then I would give money to my closest friends and family. After settling into the new house and buying all the furniture necessary I will take some time off of work and yes I would definetly keep my job and go on a vacation with my boyfriend and my kids and another vacation just with my boyfriend and some close friends. First of all, I would settle all my debts and obligations. I would get investment plans for me, my husband and my kids and educational plans. I will also get insurance, fully paid for all of us. I will buy a new house with swimming pool and basketball court for my kids. I would buy business franchises, travel all around the world, buy real estate properties and make pay contractors to make me apartments to rent out. I will buy a new van for the family and fully pay 2 brand new cars for my boys but to be claimed only when they are already 18. Sort of like a Gift Certificate thing. I will buy houses for my boys too. I will donate to charities and pay for the tuition of some potential youth so that they can get college education. Come to think of it, one million may not even be enough hehe

I would buy as many houses as possible, and with the rest I wiil furnish the houses where possible. That way I spend all the money and have the houses to rent out, giving me more income. Only then would I buy things I need or want.

Ok this will be difficult I think but here goes: First of all I would pay off my parents, my two daughters, and of course my bills. I would probably give something to my 3 sibilings, maybe 25,000 each. I would give my parents 10,000 dollars and my two daughters 50,000 dollars each. I would put 25,000 dollars in a trust fund for my 3 year old granddaughter. Then I would put 200,000 in my bank account and the rest would go to charities such as St.Jude for Children, Susan Korman Cancer Research, MJFox Parkinson's Foundation.

it is a lot of money and it's really hard to earn yet so easy to spend. i'll buy a mansion, luxury cars but not just for my self but for my family as well..i will tour them to any country the want..

Maybe my answer sounds you wired but i am 100% serious about my plan. I will hire a helicopter and the fly across the africa raining those 1 million dollars there on public places. I think 1 million is too low and this money will be finished within 4 to 5 hrs. You have to be prepared at least with 100 million to challenge me to spend in 24 hrs, money cant disturb my life and relations although i desperately need money for my social issues but i will move on with my plan and will fulfill my needs through my regular income. I want to be different then others and here everyone wants to keep the money so i wants to giveaway the money.

I will spend much of it in real estate. Houses and lot for my children and my brothers. Also to few nephews and nieces. After all lots never depreciate. I could also purchase more as my investment anyway, I could dispose or sell them and turn to money again after the one day expiration. I can give the 10 percent of it to the church. Could buy cars for the children and relatives and precious things to my best friends. Could have franchises of some businesses. Could give a portion to the charity, whatever left would be given to the people who extend hand during the rough times or show love and concern even in their little ways.

I'll pay all my debt, my family's debt and reward everyone that had helped me before. I would buy my dream car...but I don't have one yet, so I will choose randomly which have the best quality and wonderful driving experience. Then I will buy a beautiful house for my family...If I got left money, I will save enough to throw a remarkable and unforgettable dinner my family and friends ever had, sure I put someone in charge. Then before dinner I would walk around every where that I can go, and give money to anyone who I think really need it, to charity, to beggars and to the abandoned elders. Yup that should be finished right?

Hmmm, yes, come to think of it, it really is hard to be that rich. But if I had a million bucks and I could not give it to anyone but me to spend, I would surely spend it on traveling. I will buy plane tickets to travel the world. I would ride in first class and splurge on shopping and dining in the countries I visit. I would also stay in the most expensive hotel in that particular country and stay in that hotel's most expensive suite. Or another option would just to buy a house worth a million bucks and that's it.

Let's see... I would first but a new house for my family and with the rest of money I would pay for college. Any money left over would be for a new car and some tanks of gas since it's extremely high at the moment. This would be awesome if I won this!

I'd take a more pragmatic approach - I mean, I'd treat myself and loved ones to stuff like a laptop for me and jewelry and watches for others, then stick the rest into a safe moderate interest rate account and living off the interest.
