I am 24 and love my life, but I was talking with my cousin tonight about the summers vacations that he would take to FL. He was living in Connecticut back then and would vacation with us in FL. He loved it and would spend most of his time with us.
We started talking about all the fun we had and how worry free things were back then. Now as adults, not so easy...LOL. Especially with working and the economy, there is just a lot to be worried about.
We started joking about going back in time. We both agreed that if we could, we would go right back to our summer vacations as a kid. Just thinking about it puts a smile on my face.
Don't get me wrong, I love my life just as it is, but if I could go back into time, thats where I would start

I'm one of those people who thinks I was born in the wrong era. If I could go back in time, I'd go to Los Angeles and be part of the Roaring 20's. Flappers, bath tub gin, doing the Charleston! I've always been fascinated by that particular part of Hollywood history and know that I would have fit right in. Hanging out with Mae West, Bette Davis and others. Experience the Great Depression (believe it or not!). The world was wide open then. Anything was possible. Just doesn't seem like that anymore. Things were simpler. People were honest. Putting in an honest day's work for an honest day's pay was the norm. In my own lifetime, nah. No interest in repeating any of it but grateful for every experience I've ever had.

Well even though many people would find it really quite cool to be able to go back in the past, I find that I wouldn't really like it. The main reason is because I wouldn't be used to the life they had back their. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I look back on all the good times I had as a child but honestly I wouldn't go back in time because the past is what makes you who you are today. I mean dont get me wrong, there is only one certain thing that I would love to go back to... I would like to go back in time when my dad and I were playing outside in the snow and throwing snowballs at each other. I don't see him much anymore because of his new wife, but I wouldn't go back in time for that because I know it would end up like it is now. My life is okay right now, too much stress of course but things could be a lot worse so for now I would rather have things the way it is right now and not go back in time. I am sure that once I get older I may change my mind LOL!! :)
