This year, I decided to plant a garden. Not only will it save us money in the long run, but I also enjot tending to it each day. I don'y have a big garden, just a small one that is planted along my fence line, but, so far it is foing well. I planted tomatoes, green peppers, green beans, cabbage, and cucumbers. I also planted strawberiies. For me, tending to my garden each day is relaxing and I get a sense of accomplishment as I watch my plants grow. Do you have a garden this year? Does gardening relax you too?

I love to garden too. In my country we are approaching winter but as winters are mild here, I´ll give it a try at planting potatoes. I have planted some already and they are growing. Take care

I enjoy it. It's not usually relaxing until harvest season, xD too busy...and we're closer to a farm, this year, anyways. Hard work, new place, you know. I like how it keeps me busy and I enjoy caring for living things.

Yes I do feel the same way. When I dig some in the garden and plant seeds I do feel I didn't lose my day in all that. We have a big garden this year like almost all the property which is 1.81 acres. Alright we are seven in our family we surely need to bring down the grocery bill. On top of the cost of gaz, which is almost $ 1.00 Can. Digging the garden bring some peace of mind.

We started gardening last year. The year before that we did grow some tomatoes in containers but last year we grew a few more things. We did plant everything about a month late so our harvest wasn't the best but it was a real learning experience. This year we are going with square foot gardening. I just dug up the first 4x4 garden this morning. I can't do a whole lot at once due to health be I am sure we will do our planting earlier this year. We are loving the idea of gardening but we will see how much we actually love it after everything is growing. :) Seriously we do love gardening and it does relax the mind. The body, not so much, it hurts too much to relax. I will do the relaxing after we have the harder work done.

Yes, a garden is very rewarding and can save you lots of money. This year, we planted a much bigger garden. We have two plots each 10' x 10'. We have corn, carrots, lettuce, spinach, okra, butternut, zuccini, and butternut squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, salad peppers, and bell peppers. It also relaxes me and helps relieve stress. It is doing very well.
