Has anybody heard of livemocha? It is a site through which you can learn new languages. It is quiet useful and fun too. There are some courses you can take and make friends with people who know the language you are learning. Its all for free. The sessions are quite interactive. One can learn languages like arabic which are difficult to learn. I have started learning spanish. Have learnt about 15 words now(not much I know). And, I remember them because of the way in which they are taught.Do check this site out.
