What came first, the chiken or the egg??

And God said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind."And it was so.God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:24)
So according to this verse I believe that it was the chicken that came first, and then the egg, to produce it's offspring's.
What's your theory??

well it depends how you look at it because if you involve religion (which is dumb) then you tend to believe the chicken came first. and the opposite is true for science they believe the egg. in my opinion it makes more sense not to let my mind ponder over such things because either way the chicken or the egg is going to be eaten! ha ha

of course it was the chicken, either way you look at it biblical and scientific you can see that the chicken come first. becuase as per science all species evolve from another species, come to think of it if egg will be first do you think it will hatch by itself and eventhough it will hatch will it survive without the protection of its parent?
