who has or who knows of their househelps who go online or use the internet and become members of social networking sites like friendster?
This is okay I guess because they are also given chances to expand their social circles but should be limited to hours or time when they are given the go signal not just use your internet at home without your knowledge or this is already abuse in their part of your kindness and generosity.
The househelps we had in the past don't know how to use the computer so they do reading of the books and magazines at home whenever they can, now the househelp knows how to use the computer because we taught her and has her own friendster account. And she did some reading of the novels I lent her but now she seldoms or not read books anymore but goes online more.

It is so very nice of you to lend your books and magazines to your househelp... and even nicer to teach her how to use the computer and internet... others wouldn't even bother... just set the ground rules that she can only use it when she already finished all the work... and with your permission of course...
I do not have a househelp... but it would be nice to be able to share my knowledge with her if ever...

As long as they do not abuse your generosity and really would like to learn something new, then all be alright.

Hi sandy! We don't have house helper and if I do I would expect her to ask me first before using the computer. I think it's okay as long as they know that they have some responsibilities to do first and just go online on their free time. I think your helper is very lucky that you teach her of how to use computer.

yes, she's lucky indeed because I told her that being a househelp should not be forever. But we had a househelp before who abused our generosity and well we had to let her go.

I think its not an issue as long as they have permission and carry out theyre duties first. I have friends who had food disappearing (not for personal but stealing for family) and now the househelps are no longer allowed to live in the compound. So i think it depends on the people you employ aswell as making them aware of what sites are acceptable.
