is it just me or is noodles really second to rice now as the staple food of filipinos? i mean, we always have it here in the house. my toddler prefers this over rice and it is what i reach for if i get tired of eating rice or we run out of rice.
my toddler's favorite is lucky me's chili mansi. mine is lucky me's sweet and spicy. my husband has different tastes and is fond of experimenting with different brands and variants.
what's yours?

When its noodles with hot soup, I really have this odd preference for "Payless" noodles. When its noodles with no hot soup, I really like "Nissin" very much , we call it Panict Canton, right?
Yeah, rice and noodles are kind'a like the same in content but, you can eat noodles right away unlike rice wherein you still want to eat other viands along with it.

Yeah~!
I also like to eat noodles with hot soup together with rice. It makes eating rice more easy noodles and rice really makes me feel full (^_^ )
I think Lucky Me also has cup noodles, wherein their cups are styro-like so you can easily crumple it when you want to throw it away, unlike Nissin's cups which are plastic but, you can use them again if you want as ordinary cups, right?

Hello ratyz5, a pleasant day to you! You are right that you can eat noodles right away than a rice and it's more affordable. With my own opinion noodles with soup is much good with rice because with the combination of soup you can easily digest the noodles with out drinking water than digesting rice. Well when it comes with easy to be carry food, I prefer "Nissin" because there was already a cup with it, where you will put the food on it. That will give a very easy to be handled with you hand. Hehe I remember the commercial regarding the noodles of PAYLESS which is very cute and this brand of noodles have their great flavors when prefare! That most of the Filipino will surely like it. have a nice day to you!

Good day lrglara! Here in our country if there would be a nation wide survey with their favorite noodles' I'm sure they will go choose LUCKY ME! Like what you have chooren! This brand of noodles was really popular especially the Hot Chili flavor of it which great number of Filipino really love it. Well, that's the first time that I heard that there's a noodle bramd that starts with letter O, you really making me to think about it. By the way, have you already try those noodle who have different language at their cover, when I tried tasting it I found that the noodles was really good and the amount of it was really big, then it's more hot than a normal noodles here in our country, what can you say about those noodles? maggi noodles, i think, is available almost worldwide as nestle is a giant company. actually, nothing ever came close to maggi's taste when it comes to noodles with broth. it's like a classic already .

My angel never wanted me to eat noodles, the instant ones. But if I have to pick one, I would love to eat Yakisoba. Can't remember of the variant, but it's the green one.

we like the same flavor of lucky me. however, as an alternative to rice because you're dieting the calories of a 1/2 cup of rice is only about 225. i think lucky me's calories of one serving of their noodles is about 280. so i think you're gaining more weight with that .

Hello good day to you Ritchelle! You are right about that noodles became the second option for rice. Here in our country in the Philippines Noodles becane popular because it is very affordable and easy to be see in market. Even in your street store it is very popular. Then I forgot to say that noodles is very easy to be prefare which the only thing that you must do is to put some hot waters and wait for a couple of minute then it's ready to be eat.
Here in our house just like with your situation when we have no dish to be partner with rice, my father just prefer and cook Pancit Canton and it is just simply enough for us with it's deliciouse taste! Then sometimes whe just put in our table a soap noodles with breakfast because it gives hot feeling with the stomatch that will causes for you to be able to feel awake in the morning. Until now we are doing and prefaring this thing. By the way with your question, my favorite brand of noodles was the LUCKY ME! because the size and taste of it was really good which you will surely enjoy!
And last whenever we have a vacation trip I always bring Cup noodles because this stuff was very easy to be carry and you can eat it, where ever your place are! Well, that's all the end of my response! Thank you very much! I hope I share a good response with your good interesting topic! By the way, happy posting and happy earning to everyone of us here in this site. Good luck and GODBLESS!

Sometimes I really love eating instant noodles for meals. I often eat Lucky me noodles. I love their colored yellow noodles, mixed egg and chicken and then I cook it and still add egg. I love the poached egg there and sometimes I eat it together with rice. I also like the Calamansi flavored Pancit Canton they have. I also eat Nissin Yakisoba and Jjampong, for a different flavor. :)
