I think many will have different opinion . What is your take on this LTTE saga? will it bring any change? How the Tamils are looking at it? Terrorism by any means can't be supported. what is your opinion?

In Sri Lanka there are only two races. The Haves and the Have Nots. The Have Nots have been always treated as second class citizens irrespective of the race or religion. The Haves cannot find a solution to the problems of the Have Nots, because then the Have will have to give what they have to the Have Nots, and they will then become Have Nots. The Have Nots of course have all the opportunities to become Haves. They have free education, medical, subsidies everywhere. The Haves are discriminated by the government with taxes and tariffs again without any consideration for creed, cast or religion. The Have Nots are second class citizens, and not the Tamils. Why the hell did I have to pay consultancy fees to the 2nd class Tamil doctor who has been our family doctor.

LTTE Leaders and movement might have been halted by Sri Lankan Govt through killing their leaders and their armies however the movement will start oneday again untill an honorable solution is brought for the Tamils. So lets hope peace will reign on this earth. Period!!

Hello,Subha! The Tamils in SriLanka were living as second class citizen and they were neglected for which they started demanding a separate state for them with full autonomy and fighting since 1975 under the leadership of Pravakaran. But the way they carried on the liberation movement was wrong. This could have been achieved through peaceful movements and noncooperation with the government.Instead they opted for terrorist activities and ultimately lost the support of other countries particularly from India and lost to SriLankan forces.thanx.

I have not been reading much about the LTTE saga so do not know what exactly was going on there. But I do hope that now all the killings will come to an end.

i am not bothered about the demise of prabhakaran or the disintegration of LTTE. Good Riddance i heard the srilankan president addressing the parliament in the morning. let the government reach out to the people and help them. i think srilankans would use this as an opportunity to assure their tamil brethren and assure them of all cooperation and help them re-build their new life. for three decades there was hostility between, and it is very difficult to trust each other. but this is a opportunity to forge a new relationship. both sides should not miss it.

of course terrorism of any kind is wrong. you can not resort to violence to meet your demands and kill innocent people. Tamils are educated and understand this.
