this thought just came back to me,when I was a boy,I am branded as a brat, well anyway, here's my story...was in a park,I saw this playmate of mine eating chocolate, well as you all know some kids would just stash their thrash somewhere on the pavement,so I pick it up,all of a sudden, here come grandma and starts scolding me for picking up that wrapper, and was telling me I might caught germs and get sick for doing, yet she told me to throw it back,(???) what I intended to do then was to put that piece of wrapper on the garbage can, ,so I was wondering,if doing something right is wrong. :-(

Sometimes it is because like your grandma told you that you might get germs and get sick it's true because you never know if the other person might be sick. But if you take precautions and pick it up with a tissue or something to protect you or if you wasshed your hands after picking the trash it's ok I think. But I also think that sometimes we do things that we think are right and others think they are bad so the only thing we can do is, to be careful not to harm others when we do that right thing.

There are billions of people on Earth. All with a different view. I guess right will always be wrong in someone's eyes. On the other hand, having so many views keeps our vision from being so narrow.

Absolutely. This is very good annacdotal evidence that one's actions depend almost holisticaly on prespective when judging for right or wrong. Here what your grandpa saw, was a child picking up a piece of grabage to what he preceived to be random. Should your grandpa have seen the entire incident transpire he would have praised you for your sense of responsability; while reminding you to wash your hands at a later time.

I don't see how picking up litter is wrong. No offence to your grandma, I'm sure she had your best interest at heart but I think she over reacted. Yes, you could have picked up germs but you were at a park you could of picked up germs with another kid sneazing by you. If a parent or grandparent is that concerned with their child catching germs they can carry around hand sanatizer. I know a lot of parents that carry around sanatizer.
