that you bring from your travels? Do you have any collection of travelling souvenirs? I used to have a doll collection that my husband brought me. He was a profesional soccer player when he was young and went many places to play. He would always bring me a doll. Later, when we started to travel together, we started a ceramic dish collection. How about you? Do you collect something from your travels? What is is? Share, please.

Wow, the ceramic plates are indeed looking beautiful against the crème wall! I don’t have any collection from my travels but when I was a kid, I had my stamp collections and then I started a collection of sea shells…all gone now!

It seems a lot of us kids had a stamp collection once. I remember stamps in my album from countries that no longer exist. My grandson (the same that collected coins) has a shell collection now

Well, recently I started collecting silver spoons from the different states that I've visited. I only have about 3, so I guess I have a lot of traveling to catch up on. And I also have this irresistable urge to keep a pen from the hotels that we've stayed in ... not really creative and it's of no value to anyone but me however, it serves as an added reminder of where I've been.

I like to buy accessories like bracelets, rings, earrings or necklaces from my travels, but when I go older I found my room is piled up with different little things, so I stop buying things when I go travelling.

I collect a lot of things. I collect postcards from everywhere I go. And also postcards that have cool activist logos. I love dollar knickknacks way too much although I admit to liking the ones that cost much more than a dollar too. I tend to collect things that inspire me to write. The only problem is that some of them I don't get around to writing a story for the object and then it just sits around the house forever.

I have a collection of costume dolls from around the world my dear friend. I began it about twenty years ago and it gives me much pleasure. I like the unusual ones most of all like the Romanian one I have that is carved from wood. I have quite a large collection of postcards from the places that I have been to. I have them in three different albums. I collect foreign currency. The most interesting I have got are a three dollar note and a triangular coin. Hug.

I loved my dolls. Now I gave them to my eldest daughter: she says it´s part of her childhood. As for coins, I didn´t collect them but my husband got a couple of interesting ones while travelling. One of my grandsons collected coins for a long time and has all the coins the family got in many parts of the world. Hug

Hi marguicha.....I bet your doll collection is just beautiful. I collect magnets. The whole front of my refrigerator is full of magnets of places I have visited and places my friends have been. Evryone knows I collect magnets so when they are on a trip and see one that they think I will like they pick it up for me. I bet that was exciting having you husband play soccer and traveling to all the different places. Happy Mylotting!!! fluttrby

Playing soccer was fun for him, not for me. I stayed at home, he went places. But it wasn´t all fun: he went to play soccer, not o visit. I have a lot of scrapbooks of newspapers from all around the world where he played. Magnets from Mexico are awesome. I bought a couple to give as gifts the last time I was there. Take care
