A warning about the software called System Security

I have been laboring for the last two days to rid myself of a piece of malware called "System Security" it attacked my computer on the 17th telling me that my computer was infected with a couple dozen virus', trojans, and worms. I assumed that the download it wanted to load onto my computer was a system security update for Windows defender or one of the other windows security softwares that I have on my system. This piece of software pops up and denies your access to any of the other programs on your computer. It won't let you open internet browsers, security software, word processing, messengers, remote assistance, system restore, or any other program on your system that will help you get rid of it. Don't be fooled by this piece of software if it attempts to download to your computer and it will DDOS attack you repeatedly showing up, slowing your computer, and demanding that you download it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS SOFTWARE NO MATTER WHAT!!!

Not DDOS. More like an internal DOS. I used this software to get rid of it on a PC I was servicing:
