My favorite NBA player is Tracy McGRADY. I started to like watching NBA when he played for Magic. He still played very hard when he was injured in the playoff. He can't even sit when he was not on the court. He needed to lay down and someone could help to treat his back. That moment moved me. I started to like him then.

MICHAEL JORDAN..........A two-time slam dunk champion, member of the All NBA First Defensive Team, Dream team-Olympic champion, member of All Star for numerous times, scoring leader for number of times and a 2-time three peat champion...etc. He can play different positions, consistent leader on the floor, wide variety of explosive moves and actions on court.

What I like about Jordan, and what alot of people don't realize about him, is that he won his share of Defensive player of the Year awards. People today compare Kobe, Lebron, Carmello, and D-wade to MJ and the comparison is severly lacking. Jordan won 6 titles, and Several mvp's and several scoring titles, but he was a complete player, being just as driven on defense as he was on offense. Kobe the others mentioned will not win those defensive titles, as they are too offensivly minded. I hate it when people say someone is the next Jordan, because no one will ever be the complete player that he was.
Having said that I am huge Cavs fan and enjoy watching Lebron play.

People compare Kobe to Jordan, because they are almost identical talent wise, not by how much achievements they have had... Kobe plays harder defense as much as Jordan do, & has been in All Defensive First Team for 8 straight season now, defense is not 'bout figures, it's your presence against opposing team by giving them difficulties to execute a good play. Kobe is the best perimeter defender of his genre, a great one on one defender. Mj is the greatest player of all time while Kobe earns the best closer in NBA, that even our beloved MJ couldn't argue... That's a fact!
Favorite is MJ, then MJ admits that he sees he's own image in Kobe... Like passing his torch to Kobe, "it's your league now kid", & Kobe is still the best player in the NBA up to this day.

Kobe Bryant is my favorite, but I like other players like Steve Nash. I say Kobe because he's been the best player in the NBA for a long time now and there is no one as clutch as Kobe. He's unstoppable on the court and who doesn't love to watch that. I like the way he plays, I like the way he closes, and I like the team he's on.

Yes, electrifying performance and style of play. Among the only 4 30,000 point-club members, in (ABA-NBA combined) in the professional basketball record in the world. Joining Jabar, Karl Malone and Michael Jordan (All NBA Games). Dr. J tallied 30,026 all-time points in ABA-NBA games total.

One of the great dunkers even before the Doctor was Connie Hawkins. Most people won't remember him. I read a biography of the man. Great player. Too bad he got so screwed around before the NBA finally let him play. I've only gotten to see some of his stuff on old video clips.
