Ever since I've been a member to this site, I hardly find an answer to some questions bothering me about mylot. I don't know where to locate the answers. I read FAQ but still to no avail. One question that I need to be enlighten is the star above each the avatar. Currently, I have a red star with number 9 on it above my avatar. What does it mean/ How about the color colors such as yellow, blue, etc?

The colour depends on your rating. Hover your mouse over the star (and that of others( and you can see the rating. We have many coloured stars just like a rainbow Those with a rating over 95-100 have blue from 85-94 red from 75-84 yellow and so on.

I really learn a lot from you. Thank you very much. I have not discovered that my rating is 92/100 until you mentioned it in your reply. I hope I can reach the color blue.

I'm like you I don't really understand the star thing. I understand that the higher the number is the better, but what about the color. Does it mean anything? I do know that it doesn't affect your earnings, so keep posting and make money!

I know now the answer. Move your curser of your mouse into the star there you can see the reason. If you are 95 to 100 then your color is blue. Next to it is red then yellow. Just place your curser of your mouse over the star to discover it.

It is simply followed on the pattern of the more sugar you would put in a bowl of milk the more sweetness you are adding to the taste. Same goes for this ranking and numbers being highlighted against the username. The quality decides your rank and thus the overall payment on your postings.

It all has to do with your ratings that you receive from other users. You can either get a negative rating or a positive rating for the posts you do. You are rated on the type of response that you make to the discussion, and if it is descriptive and follows the discussion, and if you post good quality posts. You can't just post a few words, or one liners, as that really isn't acceptable, and you would most likely get a negative rating for those. Just do your best and post as long as responses as you can, and you will ok. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I should be very careful to those discussions that are violative of the rules and regulations of mylot.
