There's no dount that Christianity started many many years ago and throughout the years, we've seen a lot of Christians who failed. We've seen pastors and church leaders who once were on fire for God ended up backsliden. We've seen Christians who once have faith but ended up living in fear. Infact, there are many things that are done in proper in the Christian world. Because of that, the world condemns us, often saying us hypocrites. They say we live in our own world and we're drifting away from society. This is a big diccussion that I want all Christians to respond and give your opinions. The question is, what is the stand of Christianity today? Are we only focus on the 4 walls of the church? Are we engaging the marketplace? Are we actually in the world but not of the world?

Christianity - is Life devotion in how jesus give his life to the people
Same as always, spreading the Good and Salvation of God to Man Kind but the sad part is that not every one is doing that serious anymore. Some are doing it for money and some are not that committed, just for the sake of doing their part and not extending. It's a troubled world christians live in now a days. but I still keep my faith despite of the trials.I think most of the people had become Open-minded now.

When Jesus told Peter to start his church he was putting that in the hands a man, a very flawed creature. I think the basics of all religions are basically are the same, lead a good decent life and treat others well and that is not changed. But the problem is when they obsess over little details, like what to wear, eat and so on. These are traditions, not real laws. Look at the habits (name for clothing) that the nuns used to wear, they did not work in the real world because they were modeled after clothing worn in Christ's era. So in the middle of this century they changed. Well it is the same with all the silly little traditions imposed on us all, they have no meaning to God, but the religions get hung up on them. Take coffee drinking, my sister in law's religion forbids ut, Why, they consider it an addictive substance. I asked her why they did not ban sugar, something that is the most addictive substance in the world and the cause of many illnesses.

When Jesus was he hasn't founded a church. He gave us his message of love, to be followed by each individual in his heart. Churches misused his message to build up power over people, even power over kings and queens and countries. So Jesus kept modernizing his message from time to time, for example through protestantism; but the many protestant movements founded churches themselves, they build up power over people as well. So Jesus dictated to an Austrian musician, Jakob Lorber (1800 - 1864) a New Revelation, a new Gospel of John. Again WITHOUT founding a church. Everybody can stay in his personal Christian church, while reading the Lorber texts and finding peace and liberty in his/her heart, spreading the message of love in words and deeds. In total it is 12.000 hand written pages, a tremendous treasure of explanation of Old and New Testament, historical background, interpretation of disputable Bible texts. I have read it in original German language, but it is available in English as well for download from Internet.

Church has become big business. Some businesses fail so do the churches and the people that run them. Most people fail as a Christian for one simple reason. They were never a true christian to start with. Read the last few verses of the book of Mark in the New Testament. Here Jesus was telling the 11 Apostles what to look for that would identify people as true believers. Jesus told the Apostles what the true believers would be doing. You better also pay very close attention to what Jesus says about people believing and being Baptized. He said they would be saved and then he made it very clear what a true believer was. The othwer side of that coin is, if we don't have God's power in us where we can do those thing Jesus stated then we are not saved. You need to go back a little farther in the New Testament and study what John the Baptist said about Baptizing. Matthew chapter 3 verse 11. Jesus said them that believe and were baptized would be saved. But. Jesus was talking about baptizing with the Holy Ghost, not with water. The Anointing of the Holy Ghost is the key to everything. If you are working without it you are working on blind faith and when you need it most it will fail you. Only with God's personal teaching through the Anointing can you receive the true facts you can base your true faith on. Art

I don't think the position of Christianity changed. If there are church leaders and others who backslided, there are newley borns. Those backsliders don't totally left christianity, they maybe out for a while but come back later when realized they had to continue their faith. When they feel they need to feel the presence of God and do miracles for them. I think hypocrisy is just an accusation, as each one of us has our own way of believing, what maybe true to others untrue to some. Anyway God has the final say, should others may not be convinced of one's faith, God is patient to wait for each one to improve and truly embrace their faith.

We may say the word Backsliden using our naked eyes! But we cant really say it in the true sense beacuse only God knew our heart! For your question, i would like to give some answer in my point of view. What is the stand?in general, it doesnt look very good.! But being a christian is not about being in general, it is having a sincere relation with our Father.! If we ourselves dont have this "sincere" relationship, i guess we dont have a place to talk about how our christianity stand! In our church we are having knock-on-doors every end sunday of the month, and saturday visitation, in which these acts is somewhat engaging in marketplace! As what the Bible say: Go ye in to all the world and preach... concerning the last question, in my life im not of the world! but for other christian, i guess they can only answer that for there own selves.!but if we judge, we can really say most Christian are fake! I mean they are proffessing that they Know God, but they don't obey Him! Thats how hypocrites came...

It is a very hard balance to master, you can not live in the world and be of the world and be a true christian, at least this is the teachings of most churches. However many of us are able to do it, at least we think that we are. The only thing that we can do as Christians is worry about our walk with Christ, try to do things in a manner that would be pleasing to him and to walk in our life in a Godly manner. The bible tells of times like we are in, when being a Christian is no longer the popular thing to do, when people turn away from the church. Things will continue to get worse before they get better, and by get better I mean the second coming.
