Should'nt the payout at Mylot be lesser at 2$?

then you won't be getting your payment easily as there will be huge traffic to recieve the payments everyday. There are people who reaches $2 in a day or so. i don't think this is a good idea...

I am not too sure about that. I think that a payout as low as that would attract people to the website for the wrong reasons actually and we would have an awful lot of discussions being posted just for the sake of it. I think alot of members would come and go once they have their 2 dollars. Although I do not reach the 10 dollars every month, when I do manage to make it its a great feeling as it is a significant amount (for me anyway) for the amount of work I need to do on here to get there. I think 2 dollars would be too low.

I am happy with the payout being $10.00. That's enough for me purchase a new domain each month. Plus $10.00 isn't very tough to earn here in a month. The people that start good discussion and those are the ones that get quite a few responses earn quicker than those just responding to discussions or starting discussions that get deleted. So I see Mylot as being wise in this respect. If a person just goes and gives two word response and it takes them month to make a payout may just give up or start doing better as a result. Either way it works better for Mylot because it's all about content at the end of the day, content the Mylot's bottomline. Now that made sense in my head but I am not sure if it will make sense to anyone reading it. :)

that's a pretty good idea to attract more people to join mylot. not only will us, members who can't seem to enjoy yet their earnings since they haven't reached the minimum pay out yet (which includes me,lol!), have more enthusiasm to write more and more everyday but also mylot get happy and well satisfied members plus more people would join and mylot also happier with that. i do hope owners of mylot do get to read ur topic so they could try to consider ur idea!!!

I think $10 is really a fair amount. It isnt hard to reach that amount. It also keeps away people who are trying to scam the site. Many scammers are attracted to low payouts. They can get their payout before they are booted from the site. That would hurt the earnings of everyone. It would also keep people away because of the nonsense they would post! I do think it would be nice if you could cash out every time you reached the payout though! Instead of having to wait until the end of the month, put in a request to cashout everytime you earned the minimum. You will get paid the following week. That will still give them time to help prevent fraud, but we would have access to the money sooner. Of course, in an ideal world it wouldnt matter because I would have more money than I know what to do with! Since that wont be happening anytime soon, I am just thankful that I can earn any money on the internet!

i like your idea. it is a good catch especially to those who are newbie and wanted to join. $10 is already hard to earn here. even if you post as wordy as you can.

Having a lower payout would be beneficial to some, especially those who just can't seem to reach the $10 mark each month. It would be so much easier to reach it. I'm going to work hard for the next few days to see if I can make it. It's nice to know you're going to have some money coming besides your usual paycheck.
