Convenience has taken control of our means of communication. There has been much talk about the latest and greatest in cell phone technology. Apple has taken it to the max with its latest iphone creation, which is a touchscreen cell phone, equipped with "wii like" movement for games and numerous applications to make life more convenient for the average IT fan. It brings my topic up for discussion regarding the direction that cell phone technology has gone. What will they think of next? I want to know any suggestions that you may have on what will be the next great idea for cell phones or any ideas that you have come up with on your own. Technology has such an impact on our daily lives, it's hard to see where it will end.

I guess cellphones that are somehow concealed that has screens strapped on your eyes or something. Kinda like the one Angelina Jolie used in her Tomb Raider video. It should also have voice operated functions that activate your phone's numerous capabilites. Also, text messages would be obsolete with this type of phone. Short voice messages would be its means of regular communication. Hope someone invents this.

Until they will actually cook my dinner instead of just let me order it I do not plan to upgrade. I know that this is possible as some houses are computerized but it is only a few and not the norm. We do not see where it will end, and it will take a big change in the world for it to end. I never thought when cells phones came out that they would have went this far, but mobile phones of the past were simply the start of a new technology and it has went so far in just the last three decades that there is no telling what the future holds. The more they come out with the cheaper the basics become which is what I like.
