What is your favorite channel and why?

I love HGTV first and foremost....followed by ABC....then TNT....for movies.

I'm a big fan of Discovery Channel, HGTV, and Style Network. I love building and learning how things work, so these are my ultimate how-to channels!

For me, it's a toss up. I have four favorite channels. Animal Planet, Discovery Science, Planet Green, and BBC America. Each of these channels is usually on my T.V. for about an hour a day at least. Each of them has some of my favorite shows. For example, on Animal Planet I like the animal police shows and shows about animals with disabilities living life. On the science channel, I'm of late very into their dinosaur programming. I never really got over that childhood desire to be a paleontologist which I can't do because of my disability. It really is impractical to go crawling about in the jungle when you can't walk. At least, I can live my fantasy by watching this program. I like Planet Green because I learn something every time I watch it. My favorite shows are Go For the Green, Living with Ed, Wasted, and Stuff Happens. If you really want to lower your carbon footprint, I would suggest you watch this network for a day. The last channel I really like is BBC America. This is where all my guilty pleasures come from. I watch How Clean is Your House just to see how dirty other people are and feel better about myself. And I also watch Primeval which is in my opinion the best new sci-fi series in several years.

we are in canada and live pretty close to the US, so we get some american stations and i guess my first fav is our canadian history channel, followed by the PBS station out of buffalo, ny, followed 3rdly by TLC (the learning channel) i dont watch a whole lot of tv, but i do like certain shows.

I watch gma7 here in our country. Its my favorite channel. For international I like foodnetwork, lifestyle network, maxxx25, velvet. My nephew like cartoon netwok and nickeloden.

I love MSNBC too, used ot be a total news junkie would watch MSNBC all day every day. I watch way less tv now, but i enjoy cartoon network also. The music channels are great, but they can be pretty hit and miss.
