I must confess, I didn't see all the Pens-Canes game

i started the game but I lost interest when the Pens were 2-0. I went girly, I saw The Bachelorette.I saw they won. Did I miss much/ Can the Canes still win this series?

Penguins were up 2-0 real early and I turned it off thinking it was over. I tuned back in for the third and saw it was a one goal game. Hurricanes were right in this game for the rest of the game. It was a weak goal that beat Ward to give the Pens the 3-1 lead and ultimately end the night for the Hurricanes. Even at 3-1 late though I still felt like there could have been some Carolina magic as they were swarming around the offensive zone. If game one was any indication, Carlina is very much a part of this series.

If game one was any indication, it may. Before the series began I was taking Pittsburgh in a quick series, because as they showed, when they need to turn things up a notch they do just that and now's as good a time as any. But the Canes stayed with them in game one. If they can contain Pittsburgh like they did throughout the series, this should be a close one. I'm still taking Pittsburgh but it should be close. If Pittsburgh is able to kick loose and put it into high gear again, it'll be over quick
