Drums or Guitar?

I am thinking of getting drums or a guitar, but I can't choose, I need an instrument, that I can learn alone, i was thinking of getting drums, because they are easier to learn, and I can play solo to myself and have fun, but guitar on the other hand would be expensive, and also really not my type... I want to play one of these two instruments during the summer and learn it well... So, which should I get and why????

I started of learning the drums but once you get to a certain stage its really hard to learn past that, Then I started learning guitar and I'm not too bad at that as well, You can search me up for guitar lessons on youtube, My username is silversnaker.
I personally like both instruments but drums are much cooler to show off haha.

I agree on the drums, because then, you can always start a drum line or something with your friends. I am thinking of buying a snare drum in the summer, sometime soon, because I am earning money on my blog about runescape, and I have made 15 dollars in freaking 3 days!! On the contrary, to play the drums, your hand and foot coordination must be great. In a fast, complex song, it can be very confusing. It also one of the noisiest instrument I know. I should know, I have a cousin who is a drummer and a cousin who plays lead guitar. I prefer guitar though I envy people who can play the drums. I think learning the guitar is better because when you are alone, you can still play a song but if you play the drums, no matter what beat you play, you can't actually produce a song. LOL!

I was thinking of just only playing the snare drums, because I am not really going to play for a band, I just want to get a pair of sticks, and a snare drum, and just play for fun on it! I want to do like drum-offs with my friends, because I am bored sometimes at band period during school, and sometimes get bored of my trumpet... =)

i would stick with the drums. in a sense you've aready made up your mind. you sound more passionate and fired up about the drums. remember to have fun !!!!!
