After the gym, i walk going to the bus station going home. I see this kid, they call them rugby boys. They are living in the street, they dont eat, they never take a bath, what they do is smell rugby. (For some who dont know rugby, they smell gas/gasoline, when you smell it, you'll get high). Everytime i saw kids on the street or beggars, i feel sad and anger, sad for them and anger for their family. I was thinking on how to help them. I dont want to give them money because i dont know if they will used it for good things like food. what if they buy rugby, so its like i give them a go signal to get high. Usually i report them to authorities. What about you? What did you do when you saw rugny boys, street kids, or beggars?

I see beggars and street children every day. And each day that I see them, I feel pity, sadness, and sympathy for them. I also feel a bit guilty because I am able to enjoy the good life while they, who are younger than me, cannot even have a decent living. So I usually have lots of food ready in my car so that I give them food whenever I pass them by. I don't give them money too because they may be working for a syndicate and they won't benefit from the money.

I always feel sorry for the surrounding that made those people live on the street. Yet, i've seen many examples when children begging on the street didn't appreciate the fact people give them some money.Once i was walking outside with my friend, and a little boy asked us for some money. we said that we would by him food, but won't give actual money yo him because he can spend it on smth else. the boy became very angry, and said he doesn't need any food, and that he still can earn lots of money by begging , even more than we do on our jobs.. very said to hear this from children on the street.

Please do not help them by giving money to them. You can help by donating to charitable institutions that can help them. If you do not give money to them on the streets, hopefully they would stop staying there and go to the proper groups to help them. Also the syndicates who also encourage some of the beggars to stay on the streets because they are earning money from them, the money that people give to these beggars, they hopefully stop as well. Do you know that there are some hearsays that there are syndicates who also kidnap kids from faraway places just to put them on the city streets as beggars? I do hope we can help them in a better way, contribute to institutions like Caritas Manila and other similar institutions. Cheers!

Well, to be frank. There isn't much you can do to help them.Giving the, money is a bad idea. And I am assuming rugby is addictive, so ignoring them won't make it go aaway. te best thing would be to report the authrities. You could occasionally buy them food, if that helps. Not much more you can do. I doubt teaching them or getting them a job somewhere would help, but you could try that

i think the government of each country has a lot to do in this regard, they have the financial powers to take care of the beggars, mad people and those roaming in the streets worldwide, without that there is little common or average people can do to take care of them ,everyone has his or her own share of responsibilities to cater for

Just nothing when I see them on the streets because there is anti-mendicancy law and anti-vagrancy law. But there are lesser beggars now because there are agencies concerned who know about this situation and handle this well especially street kids . Most beggars who roam the streets are either in the hands of syndicates or just plain would not liked to be helped. Then there are seasonal beggars who come out only during certain months and disappear again and the next time you see them in another place. But sad to say, it's a growing problem in society as more and more people are getting poorer and society is getting more impersonal.

I know there is a big concern in giving money to the needy, afraid they will use it for something destructive and not what you intended. Try offering to buy them a hot meal, a cup of coffee and a doghnut, or a ride to somewhere they can get the help they need. If they need a gallon of gas, go in and buy the gas and wait while they pump. Basically use your common sense. Maybe research available help for them, write it up and carry it with you. Observe, communicate, and most of all treat them with respect and take care not to be condesending. Their selfworth is already in shor supply.
