Can someone explain how Associated Content performance payments work?

I write articles and submit them to Associated Content from time to time, but I am little confused about the performance payments. I understand how you earn a certain amount per thousand page views. But do you actually get paid when each article gets 1,000 views or when all of your articles combined gets 1,000 views?

The page fews go with each article and all of them combined. So, if you get 1000 views on one article that counts or if you have 4 articles and each gets 250 views that would count for your 1000 page views.
You will see on your account page that they will calculate your page views payments even before you hit 1000. They pay once a month for page view performance payments. You need at least 1000 page views ($1.50) to get paid each month. If you do not have 1000 at the end of the month your money will rollover and accumalate until you have enough to make payout. Then you will be paid automatically through paypal on their payout date.
Just remember that if you are inactive for 90 days they probably wont pay you. So, try to remember to log in every once in awhile if you ever stop writing for them.

Onedaysoon (above) said it all. They take a combination of all your views, and once you reach $1.50, you will get an automatic payment for the amount through PayPal. This is mostly small change as far as I have experienced. I don't think I ever get more than a few bucks per month, but I guess if you have really smoking hot articles with thousands of views, you could really capitalize on it. I guess I haven't figured out the hot topics or don't like to write about them.
Still, every dollar counts in this economy, and I am glad to get those few dollars in my PayPal account.
Good luck with your writing!

You get paid once a month for page views. They usually pay on the second wednesday of the month. I think that you have to have a certain amount of money made now but I am not sure. When I first started they sent me the money even if it was a few cents. I know make anywhere from eighteen to twenty eight dollars a month in page views.

I find it very confusing too. Thank you for starting this thread. I just posted my first article over there and they published it. Now I need to figure out how it works.

Your more than welcome. I have published 20 articles on there, but the performance pay always confused me. But I have a pretty good understanding of it now.
You can swing by my Associated Content profile page or send me a message if you need any help getting started http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/210593/latoya_hackett.html
Hope everything works out for you =)
