I've read and even peruse over news wherein when people think of a person its synonymous with the sports.
Let me give you example: Michael Jordan - basketball, Tiger Woods - golf
See, that's what im talking about...we seem to readily accept that.
but here in soccer do we have one also? that if we think about this person we actually think soccer...

Does the name Diego Maradona not mean anything to you guys?!?! lol. I don't see how you can possibly have a conversation about soccer/futbol and not mention Maradona. How about Leo Messi? This guy is just beginning but is already considered by many to be the greatest player in the world. Of course, I'm in Argentina so I may be a little biased. I did enjoy watching Zidane in the last world cup.

i think at the moment if you mention the likes of David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, people think of soccer.
But a person from the past who you can still compare has got to be in my view a legend of the game and that is Zidane the french legend.
