The most legendary figure that ever live...

Does the name Diego Maradona not mean anything to you guys?!?! lol. I don't see how you can possibly have a conversation about soccer/futbol and not mention Maradona. How about Leo Messi? This guy is just beginning but is already considered by many to be the greatest player in the world. Of course, I'm in Argentina so I may be a little biased. I did enjoy watching Zidane in the last world cup.

i think we have very very many like, pele, beckenbauer, ronaldo, beckham and zidane who in there prime personified a great football player, they where the best of the best.

i think at the moment if you mention the likes of David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, people think of soccer. But a person from the past who you can still compare has got to be in my view a legend of the game and that is Zidane the french legend.

At one point I believe many would have said the Pele was that type of a player in soccer. Being a North American I am not really that into soccer so I don't know if he would still be regarded that way.
