I don't think so. Without electricity, life would be hard. We would live the old way we used to, no power, but candles to give us light at night. Wood and coal would be used to cook. Life would be very inconvenient. With electricity, a lot of things can be done. Through watching TV and surfing on the Internet, news from all corners is known in just one minute. I prefer the modern way of life. For one who desires to live longer, there is no problem for him if he makes good use of electricity. Do you think so?

how on Earth could we possibly live life without electricity? when almost all the things that we use had gone to a process that requires electricity. probably when we are still living in Pre Historic Era then that would be possible. a week without electricity had made me insane, i can't watched TV, open my computer, i need to use candles when bathing, and i need to use the mosquito net just for me to get a good night rest.

Well, I don't really agree with you on this, especially in city areas where electricity is a must for most people. Just imagine, it will be dark everywhere without lights (although we can still use candles). There will be no electricity to store all your fresh and frozen food. There will be no fan or air-con to cool you down in the hot summer (in my country, all year round is summer). There will be no microwave oven to heat up your food. There will be no electricity to power your television, radio, gaming consoles and computers for your entertainment purposes... Yes, some of these electrical appliances had really caused us to be "lazy", and not go out to walk, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of our own country. However, most of us (especially the city people) had already been accustomed to all these "necessities" in our lives. To take away these may not be better for all of us.
