Well yesterday I was alone at my place because my parents went out to meet some relative early in the morning and I was alone at my place for the entire day.
It feels good to stay alone as there are no barriers while watching movie, listening music, because sometimes mother used to shout lower the volume, etc, etc.
But yesterday I watched couple of movies and then started surfing on internet and in the evening I was in front of TV. So I enjoyed it very much.
But I was alone when I was eating food in the afternoon and even missed my mother in the evening because she used to give me tea daily.
But overall I enjoyed it very much!
How about you? What do you do when you are alone? Share experiences if any?

When I am alone at home i generally stick with my PC, play all the time or maybe chat with someone(I mean friends :P ) usually hang out around my PC...the only second option i can think off is i can watch T.V. the only reason why I'd be sleeping is if I am sure I'd be alone for a long long time and Im really tired...cause I dont really get a chance to stay alone at home usually...actually i dont give it a chance i should say :P

My favorite way to spend the time when I am alone is to practise Yoga Meditation. That is very relaxing, physically and menatally. Very good for the health.

If i were alone at home, i would probably be online on mylot the whole day.I have never been alone at home and i have been wanting to have the chance to be alone for sometime now. It will be the best time of my life. I can have a lot of "me" time. Maybe i will read my favorite book or magazine, watch movies on dvd or get online with my friends on mylot or on other sites. I would not have to worry about cooking because it's just me and i can eat anything i have on the fridge.Or maybe i will stay in bed longer and just relax.

You have many things to do.
Even a week will be less to do all things simultaneously and in that time period your fridge might go empty. lol
But still it might get you in future.
And you would prefer to relax

Yeah, you are right. One can do lots of things with computer. The internet is an amzing thing. You can learn about things are happening everyday, chat with people from different countries and with different cultures indoors. But I have a suggestion for you: don't stay at computer for a long time, take intervals to have a rest which is good for your health. good luck for you!

That's one thing great about having a computer, the world is at your fingertips and there are so many avenues to take which make time fly and prevent boredom. A computer can also make a person do productive things and help keep the mind sharp. Just watch out for the scams.

OK!I am glad to share my experience with you.In fact I am often along at home beacause my parents have to work all day out of home. You may not believe that I often do housework and cook for them.Everytime I see my mother' tired figure I feel ashamed that she do so much for me ,so when i relize this,i made up my mind to help my parents as much as possible!Of course I feel free when I am alone and I do my favourite things like singing and reading quietly and so on!

It happens when one gets busy with his life but don't you have any room partner to chat with.

Hi rakesh, yesterday morning my husband and his elder sister went to tidy her son’s house. Her son and daughter work in an adjacent country. I enjoyed staying alone in the house. Yeah, just doing the same as you, I turned the volume of the hifi set very much louder than usual and listening to my favorite songs. I don’t have to bother whether the music would disturb them
After doing a few mylot posts and surfing net, I tried to take out stuffs from the fridge to prepare a simple and yummy lunch for myself. I then went for my part time job after having a cold water shower.
Happy posting

Usually when I am home alone I watch TV, post on Mylot, look at news stories and think about what I can post to my own personal blog. Sometimes I just skip it and watch TV and other times since people are not home, I work on cleaning since I can clean without having people in my way.
I tend to do a lot of things when I'm alone, I don't have a specific routine it just really depends on what I feel like doing when I am home. Sometimes I don't feel like doing much of anything so I don't. Other times I want to be productive so I work on being productive.

well, I'm reading a book or watching TV. Sometimes I share my sparetime with my friend on the mobile phone but when I want to be alone I just listen to music that makes me really happy.
It's boring when I'm alone so I don't stay alone...I always try to find something to do...

Oh, so you live with your parents, I thought you were living with partner out of your home town.
Hmm, don't we enjoy freedome at first but when we see the other side of coin, then we feel that our parents are the best and without them we are empty!
Well, I had a chance of being alone at home for a week and I must tell you that I was crying when I called my mom on 5th day. I was begging her to come back home to give me company!

Well you should ask me whatever you want if you have any doubt about some things but let it be, I am staying with my family in Mumbai.
Thanks for your response.
It has happened with me too in the past when I was pleading my mom to come back home.

I feel nothing different even though I am alone in my house. I spend most of the time in front of my system by browsing internet. When I am alone, I feel more creative than ever before. For example, I love blogging and therefore, I have written numerous posts about various topics. But I have written almost all those topics when I was alone.
I love being lonely during blogging. Because, in a sense, a blogger needs some loneliness to concentrate on his subject. I cannot write a blog post while watching TV or while talking to somebody. I just want to be alone while blogging.

We are living in an apartment with my husband and since i got pregnant he decided that i need to stop from work since then everyday of my life im alone during the day. I usually do the house hold chores. I am not fun in watching televisions so most of my time will spent in surfing the net and downloading movies. It's good sometimes to be alone but it would be better if you have someone with you that is why i'm very excited if my husband would come home.

When I am alone at home I usually relax, lay down and watch tv or even watch a movie. I usually go on the computer and listen to music. It feels great and is really relaxing spending the time alone and having some quiet "me" time and even watching a movie without being distracted or interrupted. Usually from time to time I would get this opportunity to have the time to relax but when everyone comes home after a long day they are usually tired and after eating we do our own thing.

I like watching long movie marathons or lying down on bed and just staring into the ceiling alot when I get the privilege of having the house all to myself. The quiet's relaxing. If I feel really bored, I get wasted on booze and puke all over the place like there's no tomorrow.

When i am alone at home, I usually study to improve my skills. The house is quiet, no one will distract or interupt me. Thus I can think things deeply. You guys may think that i am a boring me. but honestly, i don't want to do such things, I just have to. My wife have been unemployed for several months. I'm the only money source of my family. Sometimes I feel so tired an boring that I even think of retiring early even though I am only in the middle of thirties. I really admire some guys can be so relaxing. Being poor is tough to me,but it has also advantages. It make me feel that how other poor people feel and be more kind to others.

But usually when i get a day alone i either catch up on my sleep or get bored and annoyed because i hear nothing and im used to hearing my children argueing over a toy or just yelling just to be doing it LOL so i like it sometimes and sometimes i dont jsut depends really.
