Some people actually celebrate their birthday every year. While some rarely remember their birthdays. Another set of people do celebrate once in a while. I belong to the last set. What about you?

After i turned 21, i now have a birthday week, most of my friends are the same way too. Everyone has a busy schedule, so we might not get to hang on my specific birthday, or theirs. When i get a bit older i probably won't celebrate it too much. After all its just another day.

I try to do something different on my birthday, but not necessarily a big celebration. Last year we had several neighbours around for tapas and sangria. This year two of our grandchildren will be here on my birthday, so we'll have a special day out. If I invite people over, I always tell them not to bring presents, as the celebration is more about giving hospitality to friends rather than receiving gifts.

I belong to the last set. The truth is that I don't want to remind others that my birthday is coming soon as it seems like I am forcing them to do something for me. Thus, not many people know my birthday... In fact, nearly none of my friends know my birthday and I even try to avoid telling them just to save the troubles. OK. I am a strange man.

In terms of celebration I don't have a party or anything but I do gather with family for dinner and cut a cake. I know that a lot of people don't really celebrate or want their birthdays to be made into a huge party but some others like all of that and are excited for that time of the year. As for myself, I really don't do anything special.

it's a must to remember and thanked GOD for adding you another year. not all gets that advantage. celebrating economically matters too. you don't have to have a party and all. anyways, make it simple and plain and got to church. we can't really pleased everybody.

It's a must for it's not easy to add a year. Low keyed celebration is ok. Thanks for sharing in my post.

I just have a simple dinner with my family during my birthday. If you call that a celebration then i guess i do celebrate my birthday yearly.

I do celebrate, not regularly though. Idunno, if by 'celebrating' you mean having parties and all, then I don't really 'want' that. I just do what I feel like doing, my own leisure, to give myself time. College is pretty stressful and nothing beats a hot chocolate and a soft couch with a good book in hand. Perhaps a movie, yes. But then if you take that into account, it can also mean 'celebrating'. :)
