My Daughter is in Labor!!!!!!!!

I just got the phone call she is at the hospital in labor, she called me and said my contractions are 2 1/2 minutes apart and I am so proud of myself I havent gotten the spinal yet and I haven't yelled or anything lol.
I was there with her first child I even cut the cord but this time she said she just wanted her and hubby, sitting back is really hard I just want to go in there and say dont worry honey mom is here. I called hubby at work and told him to get ready to come and get me to go to the hospital.
I ask for thoughts (prayers) today for the health of my newly arriving grandson.

The baby arrived at 148 pm he is 6lb 10 oz and almost 20 inches long

Awww hopefully by this time you have gotten to hold your new grandson. It is sooooo AWESOME when you have grandkids! I know I have a few and it is magic! I have been there for the birth of almost all of them and it is amazing! Thoughts for you and your whole family!

My Grandmother gets like that...And if she dont get to be in the room she'll get mad and it'll hurt her feelings more than anything though. Congrates on the new Baby Boy. Prayers sent your way.

WOW!! how exciting. well im not a religious person but i wish you the best and may he live a long a healthy life filled full of joy. I hope the birth goes well and you get to see the baby soon as i know it must be a very anxious time for you at the moment. Please update us when you know on how the birth went and maybee some pic of your now famous grandson.

Very excited and of course a bundle of joy I will post pictures as soon as his daddy emails them over to me tomorrow .... He has a head full of hair it is amazing all my kids where bald except for the daughter that just had the baby.

That's so cool! I hope that everything works out great for your daughter and grandchild. I think it's great you were there for the other birth! My mom didn't show up until my third child and honestly she was so annoying I would have rathered her stay home. Good luck and enjoy the new baby!

Wow, Congrats! I just can't imagine how excited the members of your family with your new angel.It's my desire that the baby is healty and her mom will recover very soon.I am very excited as well because next month will be my due and everybody is excited with the baby as well.

Ohhh Congratulations Grandma that is wonderful for you, another grandchild.
I can understand your daughter wanting it to be just her and the father, husband its a special moment. Mom's we can get a bit over zealous and want to be there for everything our children go through. It is very hard to just stand back and watch. Isn't it?
Congrats again, I bet by now your all glowing with love and memories to last forever.
