What is the best bedtime story book?

If you have children, do you like to read before they fall into sleep? You either have a good story to tell, or you might read a great children's book for them. So, I just wonder what are the greatest children book you ever read for them?

I don't have children but I read most to my nephew for many nights even until today some nights only and he's 9. I used to read him bible stories over and over again until he knew what's the next even if I cut off reading some pages LOL.
Then there were stories of winnie the pooh and friends and other disney stories.
Then here comes fairytales of hans christian andersen. We have just gotten a new book of it and i've not finished reading it to him although there were times I let him read and I fall asleep LOL.

I have always loved Dr. Seuss books. I remember my mom reading Are You My Mother to my brother and I when we couldn't go to sleep or one of the other many Dr. Seuss books that I will always remember and read to my kids.
