What is the benefits of wearing ring in thumb of the hand?

I am just curious to know, because i have seen to many wearing some type of rings in thumb of the hand. just want to know, if any one know, is there any benefit of wearing or simply for style? if anyone knows more then i am happy to know more about this. happy my lot and keep smiling.:)

I wear a thumb ring on each of my thumbs and I wouldn't say there are any benefits as I just wear this because I like it.

its kool that you wear in each of your thumb. i somewhere think that its must have benefits health-wise via wearning ring in the thumb. just wait and watch the respones, may get the right response early. thanks for your response, swatig
