I've just seen it and it was pretty good horror movie. If you haven't, I recommend you to do it but don't read further because the less you know, the more you'll enjoy it. I liked the first half better when it was all about claustrophobia and paranoia. I didn't even know there will be monsters. But that part was sweet too. I liked how those creatures looked and moved. It's like I Am Legend vampires but done right, not the obvious CGI crap.

I've actually sat down to watch this at least 3 times and each time got bored so turned off. Sounds like I may need to give it a bit more time as by the sounds of it does get better. That's my trouble, if a film fails to get me interested within the first 10 minutes the chances are I will watch something else. Where as if it starts well and then peters out I will watch it to the end.

Definitely watch it. It isn't boring at all and there is a lot of action too.

Hi Bionicman, Funny you should start this discussion, I only watched this movie again the other week as it was on TV. I thoroughly enjoyed it, it has a great atmosphere to it and it was something a bit different. They have made a sequel that is coming out this year, it follows on directly from the first one. You can check out the trailer for it on youtube.

I've heard they cut the ending and some other parts on the tv version. How did it ennd? I didn't know there was a sequel until now so I've checked the trailer and it doesn't look too terrible.

I've heard there are a lot of things cut out from the TV version, like the visions of her child and such. But cutting the part of an ending completely changes it. The ending: After Sarah escapes with a truck she sees Juno as a ghost in the truck. She screams and awakens back in the cave where she fell, and the torch is still burning but there's no exit. And there's her daughter sitting besides her with a birthday cake. They are looking at each other smiling and as camera gets away, you can see that Sarah is alone and it's just another vision. You can hear creatures screaming in the background.

I have not seen it on DVD so I am not sure what they cut out of it and I know the DVD has an alternative ending on it as well. I must get it on DVD to have a look. The normal ending has the last survivor driving away in her truck traumatized. The sequal looks like it picks right off from there with her calling for help and then a team go in search of the missing woman and of course they don't believe her story. I will definitely want to see the sequel as it does look good.
