For myself, it has expanded opportunities to learn new things in a hurry, to express myself in ways that have helped me over-come my shyness, and to meet interesting people from all over the world.
It is also a wonderful asset in the work I do.
What is the biggest impact the internet has had on your own life?

The most important impact would be easily accessible information from all around the world. People keep posting what they have learned, come across, solved on various forums and/or blogs that really helps me out a lot during my job.
Of course, email and online chat tools help a bit in terms of communicating with people.

I use the internet in many different ways and I am pretty sure that my life wouldn't have been the same without the internet. So far the internet has brought me a great place to live, a couple of close friends, many different and interesting jobs and most important of all: My husband We met on an online friendship/dating site about 15 months ago. We started by exchanging emails and after a while we decided to meet in person. Our meeting went really well, later we became a couple and we became engaged. Now we are married

I met my husband online, so I'd have to say that the internet has made the biggest impact on my family life. We met at an interracial dating website and were married about a year later. Now, we have a 19 month old son and hope to have several more children. Without the internet, I wonder if we would have ever met?

Internet has been a good teacher and a wonderful friend to me. A perfect husband probably - friend, philosopher and guide. hehehehe
Jokes apart, i simply rely on the internet for everything. Be it recipes or finding whats good for my kid, i simply visit various websites and get what i need. I also browse a lot of websites for fun and to kill time when i'm bored. It has given me many work from home oppty where i have worked with many international clients! So, in short internet is a perfect husband to me :)

The internet has allowed me to become a published writer, and to find writing jobs. I hope to be able to earn my living from writing. It hasn't happened at the moment, but things are going the right way.
The internet has also greatly increased my general knowledge. If you want to check something out, it's a matter of a few seconds, rather than trawling through several books, so it makes one more willing to learn new things.
