Oooh...I've always dreamed of becoming a vampire! lol. But I think being immortal has its ups and downs, like you said, missing people when their gone. And yeah, I think there would come a time when you would just wanna die. It'll be a great experience to be an immortal though.

Being immortal would be cool. I would miss everyone, but I would love the chance to see how technology changes.

i would choose the immortality. being able to be alive when people learn to travel throught space and other things like that. it would be amazing just to see all the geat events that would come long after others have passed. the only thing that i would have a hard time with is if i was the only one that would live for ever. i would be fine with it if i had some one to share my life with. i dont think that i would have a problem with people in my life passing way, because i would be part of life and its not like i could do anything about it. i would be able to keep there memory alive and tell it to there kids kids and so on.

Immortality would very much scare me. Just because you are immortal doesnt mean you wont experience pain! I wouldnt want to have to live forever in pain. That is a pretty scary thought! Like you, I would miss too many people. No one would understand you because times change so much. They wouldnt be able to understand everything you have been through. You would eventually be completely alone all the time! No thanks! Mortality it is. I just dont want to die yet!

OooOOo I like this discussion! I would have to say Mortal. I am obsessed with Vampire novels and the one thing that makes us so precious to a Vamp in these books is the fact that we are "mortal" and they envy that. The old vamps will sometimes go crazy after living for so long and some want to die. I think if there were ever immortals, they might like it for a while, but then get sick of it.

I choose being mortal except I am a superman. It is sad to miss lots of people when they've gone and you are still live alone.
