Worrying has a function. It takes the place of doing something about things that you know that you can't do anything about. In essence, you're taking care of things by worrying. But it doesn't really do anything - your brain just thinks it is.
I have a mantra that I use - several really but these two help me the most. I go through a series of serenity prayer type questions:
Is this something that I can act on? If I can't, then do I need someone else to act on it? If that's true, then I assign it to that person. If not, I leave it alone.
Is this something I need to act on? If the answer is no then I give it an, "OH well" and leave it alone.
If I can act and should act, then I do.
It helps me to stay ordered in my own life.

first you should sit down and talk to yourself....forgive yourself sounds like you have some quilt of some kind or struggle with your own self.make goals to change what ever it is bothering you and causing you pain.maybe get a counselor to talk to once a week,or a close friend to confide in.most importantly pray everyday.Take care.
