if you are a scientist, which subject will you choose?

i want to choose math, but it will lost me a lot of time to finish one question. and most of time are not necessary. which subject will you choose as a scientist? why?

I have many times thought it would be nice to become a rocket scientist. So I can build myself a rocket, blast myself off into space, and get away from the rest of you crazy folk on this planet...

I actually have a friend who used to "design" living envornments for herself when she was a child to do that. I just wanted to be able to fit in - trained myself some so I fit better than I used to. So, you've come back? and you were trained to be an archeologist, yeah, I was trained to be a librarian and never used it either...

archeology? that's what i studied in college. very interesting, not very high profile, difficult to find a job in (I've never actually worked as an archeologist - I know know the field), and a source of many useless skills - I can put little shards of pottery back together and read and write in Egyptian hieroglyph... and I wouldn't trade it for the world...
