i know some of you guys have already watched this movie and of course you have your own comments/reactions. Some like it, some not. For me its a good movie but as what i predict, there are some part that is not what happened to the book. I also know that you also saw one of my discussion about books turning to movies and sometimes the movie didnt justify the books.
Anyways, which part are different in the book? I read the books 2004, so correct me if im wrong with the difference of book and movie. 1.the 4th priest is also dead in the book. 2. in the movie the next pope is the 4th priest who was supposed to be dead and the head of electoral commitee is the next pope in the book 3. robert is with the camerlengo when he ride the helicopter. 4. vittoria is being hostage also in the book. 5. i remember in the book, vittoria has a bos who is using wheelchair.
am i correct with my knowledge about the book. do you remembert anything?

I haven't watched the movie yet, but based on what i've seen on the movie trailer vittoria vetra is described differently in the book than in the movie. in the book version, vetra is a thin, tall woman who usually wears a jungle-type outfit while in the trailer, i have seen vittoria wearing a detective type outfit.. maybe i'll just wait for the DVD version, as I also wanted to have a copy of the movie :)

I never read the book but I did just see the movie and few days ago and in a sense I'm glad I didn't read the book because I loved the big twist in the movie thinking you knew who the bad people were but not really being right until nearer to the end when things are slowly becoming more clear.
I'm a Communication major so I deal with the issue of how things need to be different for print and broadcast and the biggest thing is different mediums tend to have different users and expectations so books are changed to try to generate a bigger audience and revenue. Yes it seems like justice isn't done, but it is just how things are done and look at each separately and enjoy them for what they give.
