I have a 15 month old so at my house on a regular basis. Just recently he has started to show some different behavior. Not necessarily bad behavior, but different. When i tell him to come over by me like for a diaper change, to put his shoes and socks on, or when its time for him to get dressed, he will walk backwards looking at me. He will continue to do this until he hits the wall or a toy then will fall down. I don't know why he is doing this. He also makes this like chirp, little whine, or almost like a chirp bark. Its so cute but why is he making these noises? Have any of your children done these things? What did you do to correct them so they didn't turn into Terrible 2's? That is ultimately the goal. I don't want him to be a big whiner, or turn out to be a little hell raiser. Anyone have some parenting advice?

15 months is a time of learning to play and learning how to get attention. Children are ultimately attention seekers. If you reacted the first time he made his noises, he will continue to do so just to get your attention. When he moves backward away from you when you want to do something, it may just be that he doesn't want to do that thing at that time. If you make a game of it, maybe a little bit of a chase, but still get him dressed or whatever, it will make it more fun for him to do those things.
Young children crave attention whether it is good or bad and will repeat behaviour that gets any attention. Try to praise the good and ignore the bad. Even saying "thank you for getting dressed so quickly" can boost their confidence and help them to repeat the good behaviour.
