today internet is very popular so the online games, i have a son he is only 4 yrs. old but he already know how to use a computer, he often play a game in Y8 OR Y3.com he also knows how to play dota, counter strike and GTA., but somehow i think that playing this game affected his personality sometimes i think my child adopt what he is playing. so i am always there by his side so that to explain to him what is bad and what is good as he plays. funny he learned how to use a mouse before he know how to handle a pen. hehehehe., but the question is would allow your little kid to browse the internet or to play violent online and role playing game?

Strategy/adventure, puzzle solving, simulation,MMO's, MMORPG's are some of the game genres that I would recommend. They help develop thinking capabilities and sharpens the mind. Gore and violence takes it's toll on innocent minds, and will, of course affect their attitude and actions. It's better to steer away from such games. I would love to play games that will allow you, as a parent, and your kid to play along. Cause the bonding that develops when you are involved in your child's life, will affect him later in life.

Yes, I agree with you that there are a lot of nonviolent internal game that can play by child.
Playing game and watching TV program with some violent that is not serious, the most important thing is to tell your baby what he can do and what he can not do, and you need tell them the reason.

I got a nephew who is 3 and a half years old and he know how to play games on the internet, he understand Solitaire and like to play real arcade games, it is wonderful to see him play and I got a niece who is older by 2 years and she insist on palying Quake which is sometimes a lot of bloods around, her mom prevent her but when she is not around my niece hurries up to start the game, so I think it is just a phase of discovery for them.
