How to remove a rar password

Hi All I am wondering if any of you are able to help me. I created some files a long time ago and used rar to split them and also added a password to the file. The problem is now that I need to use the file and I really can't remember the password to it. Are there any programs that I can use to remove the password? I have tried a few programs that say that they can remove passwords and they have all failed. I am hoping that someone here can give me an answer that will solve this issue for me Thanks
