Welcome to my lot!!! It much depends on the group and of what I´m expected as a member of the group. I don´t like to take those tours where you travel somewhere with 20 or so unknown people and a guide shows you everything. I like to see things in my own time and don´t like to be hurried by someone else. But I do like to travel with someone that goes at my pace (about)and someone who will rather see less places but see them in depth. Have a nice day

When I was younger I traveled on my own. I really liked that because I could go exactly where I wanted to and move at a pace that suited me. I could keep at a budget that I could afford. I enjoyed going on a few trips with my mum and with my sister. I traveled with my ex-boyfriend and whilst I wanted budget he wanted top range accommodation. These days I travel with my toddler son. He has just become two years old and so far he has been with me to five different countries. Our last trip was to explore Cape Town and the Garden Route in South Africa.

Hi Sumanadep, Travel in a group and travel alone have their own advantage and disadvantage. Personally, i like to travel alone and meet other people on my journey. That's also fun. I agreed that if you are with a group of great people, you will have a enjoyable and memorable journey, trust me, you can have a terrible journey too if people who around you make you sick.

i don't like the feeling of being alone so i prefer to travel with a group of friends, family, or relatives. it makes me feel safer when traveling to a place far away from home especially if i will be going to that place for the first time. you'll never know when you'll encounter some troubles or problems so i'd really like to have my friends or family with me when those things happen.

Since I am disabled and need personal care, I never actually travel alone. However, often I am the sole decision maker about where I travel to. Sometimes I enjoy the autonomy but I also like traveling in a group because that way you have more people to share the experience with. There are pluses and minuses to each situation.

Travelling alone, is what i prefer to. Yes, its not enjoyable much because i have nothing to talk to unlike if i am with a companion. The thing i like being alone is that i want to be quite in a long trip. Sea trip is the one i love most being alone. I spent all times just watching the waves both sides of the ship.

I like traveling with a group, especially with my good friends. Sharing this kind of experience with others is important for me. Besides, I find it boring when I'm all alone going to a nice place and I don't have anyone to talk to or share opinions of the place.

I will travel in group like family or friends unless there's no other way. I feel secure to be in foreign place when I am in a group of people. Besides, like they said, the more the merrier. More fun and things can be try within a group. The cons probably we have to move together and wait for a group to complete before moving. Apart from that, I have no problem to move in group.

With a group.... I have experienced traveling alone and it was so sad. I felt such a loser that I had to take my own photos. Either that or I bother so many people to take my pictures. The feeling was so awful.

Travelling with a group (3-4 people is ideal) is the best way to go on a vacation in my opinion. First of all you are going abroad, to a place you have never been to, you are a foreigner there, so being in a group is safer than travelling alone. Second, the more people travelling with you, the more ideas will pop out so you will have more alternatives. Some think this is a disadvantage because people will be recommending way different stuff, but if you are travelling with close friends that won't be a problem.
