My mother tounge is Malayalam. It is one of the languages of south India. The way it is spoken is almost similar to another language 'Tamil'. The scriptis Devanagiri. I speak mother tounge when I go home, but I speak English with my husband.

My mother language is Mandarin, which is spoken by 1/4 of populations in the world. I can also speak Russian and English. Now I'm learning French. Interesting topic.

My mother speaks Dutch to me and my father speaks English. I've been raised with two languages. I speak more Dutch than English, because I see my mother more. But when I'm visiting my grandparents I speak English all the time. I'm lucky to have been raised like this. I never had any problems in school when we visited other countries. And I can easily get around on sites like these.

My language is English. I am American so my English does not sound like the English that is spoken in England. There language is more formal. We use a lot of slang. Words can mean different things because of the context it is used in.
