I have one at office which 17 inches. The resolution is so good and also its soothing for my eyes. After using LCD you won't feel like going back to the old monitors.

If you ever buy a plasma, make sure you get the correct one, because if you read my post on this discussion, you will see what I said about my uncles plasma. You don't need to read it, just thought I'd warn you, in case you didn't already know about it.

i use a 17" LCD monitor. there is a big difference when using LCD monitor to CRT monitor, there is less strain in the eyes, when i am using the CRT monitor before after using it for 4 to 6 hours i can feel that my eyes are so tired, but with the LCD, i can go for as long as 12 hours and i don't feel a thing. i think 17" over 19" has no difference at all since it is both LCD the only difference is the size.

I use my laptop and it is LCD screen. I don't have to buy an extra one. I think that an LCD monitor is good as it can protect our eyes than the other types of monitor that we have today. As to the size, it depends on how big you prefer. If you use it to watch movies sometimes, then a 19-inch monitor is good enough. In fact, 17 inch is not small though.

I am not using LCD Monitor but I have seen many LCDs in our customers home and even my company where I working supplied many LCD Monitors to the customers.
LCD Monitors are very good techology they are very good in clearity & gives very true & fantastic colour combinations. I can say if You re concern about reasonable price then you should buy VIEWSONIC or other wise you can buy Samsung LCD best.

No, I do not have an LCD monitor, I would maybe like to have one, but can't be sure, some of them don't have that clear picture, like high definition plasma screen TVs. My uncle has a high definition plasma or LCD screen, and he bought a blue ray player with it, and when you watch normal channels, the quality is horrible, but when you watch high definition channels meant for the TV, then the picture quality becomes excellent and it feels like you are in the room, and same goes for when he has a blue ray DVD in the player.

LCD monitors are getting cheaper by the day despite it getting less bulkier. I do use the LCD for space savings. Whether it is 19 inch or 17 inch monitor, it all depends on your need. Of course, personally, I prefer the bigger one provided it does not consume much more energy than the cheaper one.

I have used LCD monitor for several years already. I think it is better. It doesn't occupy a big space. Besides, it saves much more electricity. I still like 17" LCD monitor rather than the 19" one. As I don't think it's comfortable for me to watch from such a big screen. After all, computer is like a tool. Although sometimes it is a kind of entertainment. But the image quality can't compare to the TV. I don't want to sit so close to watch a big a screen.
I love China

Believe me, once you switch to LCD monitors for your computer, you will not want to go back to the CRT monitor. I used to have two 17 inch CRT monitors for my two PCs at home, and they take up lots of space on my computer desk. For six years now, I have been enjoying LCD monitors. They were expensive then, but I decided to make the switch and never looked back. Today, I have a 19 inch LCD as well as a 22 inch LCD monitor. The 22 inch one is really big. I can see images larger, have more windows seen simultaneously and view larger spreadsheets without having to scroll left to right. When I play games like Fifa soccer, it is much more enjoyable than on a small screen. If you can, go get an LCD monitor of at least 19 inches.

The monitor that I am using is about ten years old. My husband had it a year or so before we met. I figure I don't' need an lcd monitor (even if I could afford it) because the one I have works just fine. You are right the price of monitors in general have come down in the last several years.

I too haven't used a lcd monitor. But i know it performs better than crt monitors. When i planned to buy a lcd monitor.my friend told me to take nineteen inch as it would be good for seeing display also it would be good to play games. If you use the computer most of the time and you are a great fan of pictures and games then nineteen inch will be good for you or else seventeen inch is also okay.

My work had them. I got laid off on Monday though so I won't be seeing those for a while and definitely can't afford one ha. But yeah, they are really great and eiethr size is good. I had a 17" one it was very nice. It makes my computer at home look crappy.

I have been using the LED monitors till two years back.I have switched to LCD monitor then.My LCD monitor is Veiw Sonic brand and is 17'.I find it quite good in many ways.It is not a strain on eyes and doesn't occupy much space.Above all it has a very aesthetic and modern look.I think a LCD monitor of 15" size is OK.But if one needs to watch movies you can go for the 17' which will make the experience better.

Yes, i am using an LCD monitor for over a year now. I'm using a Hitachi LCD. It's pretty old but definitely better than CRT monitors. I think LCD monitors are cooler on the eyes and i heard that it consumes less energy. I'm only using a 17" monitor but 19" would be better of course! The larger the monitor, the better.

I think 19' is better since you are going to buy a LCD monitor, choose the bigger one so you can enjoy it well in watching DVDs and you can see clearer images. It is also the size wanted by many buyers. It is their dream size of LCD. 19' because of this, I think 19' is better than 17'.

Ya you are right when the LCD monitors were launched it created a new vibes for all the people over the world. Now a days they are so inexpensive that everybody prefers LCD screen rather than old Cathode Ray screens.
I think if you are going to buy a LCD screen better buy 19 Inch.
Good luck
