I want more business online but I don't know where to look. I only get business so far from my family and friends. But I want to expand. Any ideas? I want to find a way to do it for free because I am trying to build up so I can advertise in the newspaper and yellow pages. What are good ways of earning customers?

Avon is a great way to make money and meet people. I did it for years before we moved to Spain last year. I used to make a lot of money from buying up discontinued items cheap, then selling them on market stalls. I had some friends who worked with a lot of people, so I gave them a box of discounted products to sell for me and gave them 10% of the total they raised. Look out for extra special discounts, and try and get your catalogues into local shops or ask your friends to take catalogues to work. Even if you give them 10% of the sales, you'll still make a fair bit of commission. The secret is to build up a good network, as it takes a lot of work if you're just selling door to door, unless you have a really good round. Good luck!

Do you have a job? You should leave your catalogue in the workplace along with orderforms for people to fill in if they want to.
Pass them round to your friends and family and ask them to pass them on to theirs..
Neighbours?
You can make a fair amount pretty quickly if you put your mind to it!

I used to do Avon and I found if you ask 1 person everyday then your sales will rocket, if you will find this too difficult then ask your family/friends/customers if they know anybody else, give them 1 extra catalogue to pass to a friend that will get your sales up abit too. If all else fails order cheaply from your hello tomorow catalogue and sell the items on ebay, ideal for people that dont have an avon representative!! Hope this helps!! =D
