What is your motto in life?

Everyone has those little mottos that they like to say during hard times, or one that really suits them that they always try to live by. Mine is "live life to the fullest with no regrets". I learned it from my grandparents. Even though they never said it, the message was well implied.
Are there any mottos you are particularly fond of and if so, where did you pick them up?

Hello phyrre, my motto in life is "there is no wright or wrong decision"
there it is, i made it up myself. For me , it doesn't matter what decision you took in your life, it depends on how we lived after we make those decision. After we decided something, we can't go back and make another decision. If we keep thinking that we wade the wrong one, than our life will wasted. Thanks for posting this, and i think we had a similar motto.

From going through some hard times and still doing so from moment to moment. My motto has been, "keep your head up, live life to the maximum and take things a moment at a time." This has helped me during times that I just wanted to give up entirely as I have taken my own advice and kept through with it and made sure that I do my best to hang in there as it does get better. We have to struggle through the hard times in order for us to enjoy the good things in life. Look forward to reading the other replies to this discussion from my fellow mylotters.

I'm always using the ones "Everything happens for a reason" and the one
"What goes around comes around " Those two would have to be my favorite

Hey,
Well I don't really have any motto's in my life. My life has had absolutely no goals or anything, mainly because I have had also no motivation whatsoever and stuff like that. I hope that in the future I will have a motto. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

What a nice discussion!
Okay so.. my motto is "Everything happens for a reason". That motto is very common but it's very true. I believe in that motto so much that I apply it almost in my everyday life. I believe that you lose someone for a reason and that reason is because you will still meet someone that's much more worthy than the one you lost. Well, that's just an example.
My motto when I was younger was, "He who laughs last thinks slowest". It's true, right? When someone jokes and everyone laughs except you. And you'll only laugh when you "get" the joke.. haha. I believe in that motto so much, up to now.
That's it! Happy myLotting!

I can't really say that I have a motto but my philosophy is sort of "live and let live." That doesn't mean ignoring things it means focus on your own life and what you need to do to live a good life and let others do the same. Some people find it necessary to criticize others constantly and all that negativity is not good for anyone. The same goes for judgement.
