We are taking our daughter out to kick off her summer break. Her aunt and uncle have asked to visit. So we will be eating out at Chevy's. She wanted Taco Bell. Guess I can make that happen soon. It doesn't have to be food related. We are going to the zoo on Sunday.

My son's last day is on the 27th. He has a half day that day. I don't know that we will do anything special to kick off summer or not. There are a lot of place he wants to go. The Arch being one of them.

I would take her to her favorite store and buy her something new to reward her for a successful school year. You could also take her to a hobby store to get something to keep her busy. I am sure there are also local festivals or music shows she might enjoy going to.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I think there is a Greek Fest this weekend. Thanks for triggering the reminder!

Awesome! I am hoping that my little sister will be able to get to the zoo it would be her first time, but it is far off from where we live. Also wish she would be able to see a aquarium filled with all kinds of sea life She would love it..Just nothing exciting in Ky really unless it is the Horses and races. Little sister will be not getting out till mid June.

I was just thinking of this today. Tomorrow is the last day of school for my kids. They will be finished with finals at 11:30. I'm wondering what they might like to do. They always study hard and make good grades. I'd like them to know there are rewards for hard work. Enjoy your day at the zoo.

hi there ersmommy1 I plan on taking my kids to the Colmbus Zoo next month. We have never been there and I looked the info up online and it seems like a lot of fun. They have four days next week and than they are off for the summer. I am looking foward to this I have to save up for the trip because Columbus is about 200 miles away from where I am at.
