My youngest love her hugs. She always asks for hugs most of the time. There are times when she comes up to me and hugs me or tries to when I am busy. It can be so annoying.
My older boy is not into hugs any more. When I do hug him, he goes all shy about it all. There are times he tries to pull away. He is a teenager and he doesn't want hugs much.

I have that too! Parrallel lives! I try to remember that it's only for a few more years she'll even WANT hugs..then no more until she's 35 with her own brood!

Every night and every day prior to nap time. I also tell them I love them anytime I leave the house, drop them off at school etc. I never want to wander if I forgot to tell them how much I love them

I always give my children a hug and a kiss when it's time to be tucked into bed. Anytime I wont see them for a period of time I always tell them I love them and give them hugs and kisses. You never know what can happen and if something ever happened to me when I walked out my front door I would always want my children to remember the last words I said to them and know I will always love them.
